Note that HDMI cables cannot be screwed in. Now, ensure that the cable is screwed into both ends. Follow the cable all the way to the computer and note where it is plugged in. When this happens, my monitor power light stays yellow as if the monitor is sleeping or in standby mode. It flashes on and then off after a few seconds, then it goes to aīlack / blank screen.
